Who is she?
I’m Coco Kuffour a passionate blogger, wife to Kwaku, and mama to our amazing son Kairo.
I was raised in Tacoma, Washington, and while in college at UW I took my first trip across seas to Dubai and South Africa. This was a transformative summer for me, as I was introduced to new people, places, languages, and my favorite food! That was the year I truly discovered my passion for travel and the exploration of new cultures.
Fast forward 4 years and by no surprise I find myself married to a man that came from the other side of the world. I was intrigued! His custom cultural outfits, food, way of thinking, and the different languages he spoke (He knows 3 by the way!) it blew my mind and was a far cry from everything I have known in America.
After returning home from our recent trip to Ghana I knew that part of the world needed to be shared. This platform was created to celebrate Ghana in all its cultural and colorful glory.
Through my blog, I aim to share our experiences, insights, and invaluable travel tips to inspire and guide you on your future Ghanaian adventures. As a family, we’ve enjoyed multiple journeys across Ghana, exploring its vibrant culture, breathtaking landscapes, and tantalizing cuisine, and now I want to share that first-hand experience with you!
Here you will learn about age-old traditions, festive celebrations, and the vibrant arts scene that defines this dynamic nation. Whether you’re curious about traditional Kente cloth, want to try a new recipe, admire the fashion, or are even eager to master a few phrases in Twi for an upcoming vacation, we’ve got you covered.
